Baker & McKenzie Named “Law Firm of the Year”

Last year, Baker & McKenzie, a firm with partner Marnin Michaels, was named “Law Firm of the Year” in Ukraine by Chambers Europe. The firm received the same title in 2012 as well.

The award was presented at the Chambers Europe Awards for Excellence in 2013 in London. The honor was based on Baker & McKenzie’s preeminence in several practice areas, as well as market feedback and the firm’s involvement in major deals.

“It is a great honor and responsibility for us to be recognized as the best law firm in Ukraine,” said Co-Managing Partner of the Kyiv Office Serhiy Chorny. “We are the only law firm that has been named ‘Law Firm of the Year’ in Ukraine by Chambers for the second time in the last five years. We are also the only law firm in Ukraine that is continuously ranked first in all key practice areas for over ten years. I want to thank and praise out lawyers for this significant achievement. They work hard to maintain the highest standards of serving Ukrainian and international clients. This award shows that clients that choose Baker & McKenzie in Ukraine choose the best in quality and reliability.”

Baker & McKenzie has also won the award in other countries throughout Eastern Europe, including Hungary.
