Already with a new freight terminal operating in Riga, Latvia since April, Sweden-based packaging company Iggesund will be opening a new sales office as of July in Moscow, Russia. The goal of the expansion is to intensify its sales to the Russian marketplace.

Until now the company specialized in deliveries but hopes to also introduce knowledge transfer, transparent raw material, and technical support services to its customers.

Iggesund also offers two products to its customers: Invercote and Incada. Invercote is made from virgin fiber from Swedish forests that are managed sustainably, producing multilayered solid bleach board-(SSB.) Incada is multilayered floding box board (FBB) from virgin fibers originating in Swedish forests.
Rikard Papp, the director of Iggesund Asia Pacific & Merchants Europe commented:

“We need to be near the customer both in terms of deliveries and other services required by today’s customers. The intense interest we met with last year convinced us that we should establish a sales office for the Russian market. It is a major market that definitely has room for a high-end product like Invercote.”
